Quotes by Christopher Marlowe
Christopher Marlowe, born in the same year as Shakespeare, wrote Doctor Faustus and Tamburlaine. He was killed in a fight in Deptford at 29. His poem “The Passionate Shepherd to His Love” became one of the most imitated lyrics of its time.
Come live with me and be my love, / And we will all the pleasures prove.
